Karyn_Sue's NSD Hint!

Post by Karyn_Sue »

So it's May 1st and finally looking like Spring here in Central NY. Guess that means it's time for Spring Cleanning.  Most people like to sort things into:

1) Keep
2) Trash
3) Donate

But I have a 4th choice - hang on to it, it may be useful someday!

Can't wait for this challenge.  My response to Spring Cleaning is to clean and put everything back again.  Yes...I am a scrapbook hoarder!

Got it!
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Not a problem for me.  I am the one that always thinks I will use it someday.  I just haven't found that someday yet.

I’ve been trying this strategy with my boys’ outgrown toys… their category is “I’ve been looking for this! You can’t get rid of it!” 🙈

My answer to that?

“But if we keep the things you don’t play with anymore then there’s no room for the new things you want.”

PS This worked better on my kids than on my DH.

Lol "hang on to it, it may be useful someday!" seems to be my only category for sorting lately.

We’re getting there! They managed to let my mom take a bunch of the big Mega Block building blocks for my niece, so they have room for more Lego! Progress!
